After the treatment areas are identified, your skin will be cleaned and the ultrasound gel applied. The treatment applicator is then placed against your skin, producing an image of your skin’s structure. This advanced imaging technology makes it possible to precisely identify the optimal depth at which to deliver the ultrasound waves.

You will feel the sensation of the sound energy as it enters your skin, but most patients feel very little discomfort during the procedure. The tingling, stinging sensation is the first step in the process of triggering your body to rebuild the collagen layer. After treatment, you can return to your normal activities with no restrictions. Some patients have a slightly flushed appearance, minor swelling, or a tender sensation, but these effects are minimal and disappear quickly.
